• Text Data from Anthropic Claude Chat UI: The Plugin collects prompt text from the Claude Chat UI (www.claude.ai/chat), but only when you instruct it to. • User Inputs: The Plugin may also collect any text or commands you input into the Plugin’s interface to customize or direct its operations.

• External Processing: The collected data may be sent to external servers or services for further processing and analysis for the intended use of the Plugin.

4. Third-Party Services

The Plugin interacts with third-party services OpenAI (www.openai.com) and JinaAI (www.jina.ai) for processing data. These services are subject to their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review those policies.

• OpenAI: The Plugin uses OpenAI's Chat Completion API and GPT-4o-mini model for determining the most useful search terms based on your input and for determining which information from Jina.ai should be returned to you.
• JinaAI: The Plugin uses Jina AI's Reader API to search the Internet for information useful to your prompt, using the input returned from OpenAI.

5. Data Security

Your OpenAI API key is encrypted using AES-GCM and stored locally in your browser's local storage. It is only decrypted and used when communicating with OpenAI's APIs using encrypted HTTPS. All data communications with third-party services are secured using HTTPS to ensure your information is protected during transmission.

The Plugin does not retain any data locally or remotely after you close the Plugin, except for the OpenAI API key, which is stored persistently in your browser’s local storage. The retention of your data by external services is governed by their respective policies.
